Marco Covato was born in 1979 in Calabria, a land where the passion for engines runs in the blood. At just 15 he was already getting his hands on engines — naturally-aspirated to turbo conversions, cylinder head work, carburetor to electronic injection conversions. Not theory, real practice. The workshop as a school, the engine as a textbook.

In 2000 he discovered the world of ECU map development and understood that the future of engine tuning lies in the management map. From that moment on he never stopped.

Over his career he worked as a technician for AUTEL and TEXA, two of the biggest names in automotive diagnostics, and as a developer at EVOTRONIC in Milan — one of the most advanced companies in professional tuning.

He has run training courses in Catania, using the best editor software available.

His professional DNA is built on two pillars: Evotronic and WinOLS — the tools with which he has built years of experience and hundreds of successful projects. He has collaborated with national and international tuners, forging working relationships with professionals in Switzerland and Australia.

In 2024 he brought his expertise to the track in Malta, providing technical support in 0-400 metre acceleration races, where every hundredth of a second counts.
